Online Marketplaces
Please be aware that motors from on-line market-places are often in poor condition. A 3 month warranty may be a sales technique designed to get you to test the motor on your machine. On-line market-places can be an excellent way to get your machine running in the short-term.
There is also now a thriving market in "Frankenstein" motors being sold as new motors. These may be sold on online marketplaces. They can be detected by incorrect stator coil DC resistances, minor errors in spelling on the motor's nameplate, following errors and/or peculiar faults reported by the motor's parent machine.
